At Snake & Sun, we want to give our customers the most enjoyable shopping experience, one that will keep them coming back time and time again. That’s why we believe that our store policies should be fair, clear and transparent. Below you’ll find a list of all our policies. Shipping Policy

At your service

We go above and beyond to ensure your products reach you safely and in one piece, offering free USPS first class shipping for all of our products.

In order to ensure the individualism of our unique handmade products, many of our orders are fulfilled on a made to order basis. This means your order may take up to 14 days to ship once placed.

Please reach out if you have specific time constraints or requirements, we will always do our best to meet your expectations.

Returns & Refunds

What you need to know

Despite our no returns or refunds policy, if any items arrive damaged or incorrect we will expedite prompt replacement if correct documentation and proof can be provided of the mishap. If you feel you require special consideration for a return or refund, please contact us via social media or email to discuss. Please review our warranty terms for more information on this. 

Warranty at Snake & Sun

Our store policy

If, during unpacking within 30 days of delivery, you are noticing any faults or flaws in our craftsmanship, please inform us immediately by sending us pictures via email. We will discuss the issue and will take the product back for either a repair, or a replacement. We will pay for associated shipping costs, but we are not liable for any other costs incurred. Please inspect your product as you are unpacking.

 

Snake & Sun’s warranty extends to the original purchaser for a period of 30 days from the date of delivery. It is the customer’s responsibility to unpack and inspect their order within 30 days, to ensure a timely claim. Only original, unaltered, and unmodified craftmanship completed by Snake & Sun is covered by this warranty. This warranty does not cover damage, neglect or abuse, whether caused by accident, improper care, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials due to environmental factors such as rain, UV, and mold/mildew. We reserve the right to alter the terms and conditions of the Snake & Sun warranty without prior notice.

Your information is safe with us

This Privacy Policy describes how and when Snake & Sun will collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item, contact, or otherwise use our services.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that we do not own or control.

Snake & Sun will collect personal information to fulfil your order. Information such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering may be collected. You may also choose to provide us with additional personal information if you create a Community Account or contact us directly (a custom order, for example).

  • as needed to provide services, such as when using your information to fulfill your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;

  • Compliance with laws. we may collect, use, retain, and share your information if there is a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond to legal process or to government requests; (b) enforce our agreements, terms and policies; (c) prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of our customers, or others.

  • Other Community Members, only if you choose to make your profile public.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and as described in this Privacy Policy. However, we may also be required to retain this information to comply with any legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce agreements. We generally retain your data for up to 4 years.

Transfers of Personal Information Outside the US

We may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the EU and other jurisdictions. As a result, we may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If we are deemed to transfer information about you outside of the US, we rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is Privacy Shield certified.

  • Object. You can object to (1) our processing of some of your information based on our legitimate interests and (2) receiving marketing messages from us after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, We will delete your personal information unless we have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.

  • Complain. If you reside in the US and wish to raise a concern about our use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
